Garma-Garam Since 1952
Laljibhai began as a humble street-food cart in Bhopal, built on one simple belief — that a hot, honest plate of bhajiya can make anyone's day better. The brand's story, as we proudly tell it, starts in 1952, when the first kadai was lit and the first batch of aloo bada went crackling into hot oil.
Word travelled fast. Locals came for the crisp mirchi bada and stayed for the syrupy hot jalebi. The three chutneys — green coriander, red chilli and sweet tamarind — and the complimentary hing water became signatures that people still talk about. Over the decades, Laljibhai grew from a street cart into Bhopal's beloved Indian fast-food brand, without ever changing the recipe for success: Swad (taste), Sudhta (purity) and Swachata (cleanliness).
Today, the same garma-garam bhajiya and jalebi that made us famous are served at our outlets across the city — and now, through our franchise programme, we are bringing the Laljibhai taste to cities across India. Swaad Bhi… Vishwas Bhi!
